Medical Billing and Coding Salary

If this world didn’t have doctors there’d probably be no such thing as annual exams, pap smears, and mammograms.  But for all the wonderful things that organized medicine provides, from amazingly advanced treatments to cutting edge research that will someday hopefully cure incurable diseases.  Doctors will be the first ones to tell you that they an’t keep you from getting heart disease, or put sunblock on your nose before noontime run, or snatch the third ho-ho out of your hand before you shove it in your mouth.  But you can.  You are the only one who can be an advocate for your health.  You are the only one who can make decisions for preventing the effects of aging, by keeping you feeling, looking and being younger then your calendar age.  You can control your health destiny.  In life you can’t always control what happens to you (no matter how fit you are), but you can control your attitude, your deterimination and your willingness to take your health into your own hands.  The best way to know as much about your body as possible.  The point is the pwer you have to control your health destiny is real and it is in your hands.  In the next couple of weeks, we are going to give you dozens of reccomendations that you can use to make yourself healtheir.  We will start today with five adjustments to your life, and will have a dramatic effect on your life expenctancy and quality.  The five things are; controlling your blood pressure, avoiding cigarettes, exercising thirty minutes a day, controlling stress, and following a healthy diet.

You may wonder what this has to do with medical billing and coding.  The more you know about and take care of your own health in life, the better care giver you can be for those around you.  Although in medical billing and coding you don’t work directly with the patient, all inclusive health knowledge can help you to understand the records and information you will be entering in to medical files and records on a daily basis.
